Having finally stepped foot into Fat Tuesday this weekend after all these years I was pleasantly surprised. With a few steps up to this open air corner bar on the corner of Duval and Rose Lane (across from Caroline's), it is no doubt a college town bar. Along the left side is one long bar with a host of different frozen drink machines with accompanying menu's above. There are also well drinks & beer along with a few high tops and chairs. A D.J. booth is to the right diligently spinning the latest dance/pop music. The tempo was high energy with dancing and groups of people enjoying themselves. I did taste a friend's frozen drink and it was way too sweet for me, so I would ask to see if you can get a small taste before you buy a particular flavor. I'm not sure if they will do that, but it's worth a shot. Nothing fancy by any means. Just a cool little island joint with lots of energy. For me personally it is on the younger side but if I had the opportunity and was in the mood, I would definitely drop in for a shot and a dance again. It was a fun time. Average age range: 21 - 35

You already know what your getting into when you come here - complete shit show. The beers are reasonably priced (at least coming from Miami) and the music usually banging. However, this is the place you must wear some sort of foot condom - or you will get an STD. Enjoy your boozy slushy and then take off. Place is good to start or end at - but don't try spending your whole night here. Better places to fill your time.

WOMEN PLEASE BEWARE. I came here with a girl & guy friend and had one drink after working all day. I was dancing with my two friends when some creep came up and grabbed my butt under my dress. We told the security guard, who then high fived the guy that sexually harassed me, shook his hand, and introduced him to the DJ booth. Isn't the entire point of a security guard to keep everyone safe at the venue? So at Fat Tuesday's in Key West creeps will be rewarded. We then politely asked for the manager to inform him about the situation. The manager, Dan Wukotich, smirked sarcastically - also approving of the situation and did nothing about it. We then went to Rick's Bar, where the SAME creep came up and sexually harassed my friend vengefully and with a entitled smile on his face. The security guards saw what happened, and tastefully and immediately handled the situation, by escorting him out of the bar. It took about 3 security guards since he was fighting back at them, but they handled the situation with integrity and morale. The same way you'd treat the situation if it was your sister, mother, daughter, or any other human being. The point is Fat Tuesday's in Key West is a sketchy place with twisted/ unprofessional staff/ management and I'd simply like to give you a heads up to let you know that you are absolutely NOT safe there. Bring your business to any other bar in Key West. If not, you have been warned.

Great place to just chill and people watch. I had to come here after seeing the Fat Tuesday's bike riding down the street with music blaring. Their frozen drinks are a great relief after walking in the hot and humid Florida weather all afternoon. They have bathrooms on site which is always a plus. The reviews about the creepy people did make me laugh because it's true but hey, what can you expect?

Good place to walk in grab a frozen drink, dance, and have fun with your friends. Our group stopped here many times during our visit. We loved this place. I am not a big drinker and slow to drink so I enjoyed that my drink was frozen and served in an insulated container. You have several options to choose from, but I mainly stuck with the sex on the beach slushee. It was refreshing after our walks and not too stout. I was pleased with our service each time I stopped in. They servers were friendly and always offered me a sample to try. I agree with them being pricey, but what isn't pricey in that particular area?

    (4)
  • Sandra R.

OMG the drinks are delicious. I think I sampled then all... Love this place. Had the mango tango. With an extra shot.

    (5)
  • Meghan H.

This place is perfect for that refreshing, frozen drink you've been dreaming about. It hit the spot & did not disappoint. There's not much to see in the bar, but enjoy your drink then move on to your next spot.

  • Lindsay A.

I will admit I would never stop at a Fat Tuesday, unless someone I'm with wants to go. Well of course that happened since some random dude who was buying my friend and myself drinks took us here. There were only 2 positives I can say from the experience, the place was clean and we got served really quickly. The 2 positives is why they get 2-stars as well. Besides those 2 positives, I thought the drinks were way to sweet and lacking really any distinct flavor. I also thought the drinks were overpriced for what they were. Shockingly this place closes up early on a Monday night. I think we were kicked out at 1am even though the place had people buying drinks. If you aren't into frozen drinks from a machine, this place is definitely not for you! Find somewhere else to go on Duval Street since this place is way to commercial. I most likely will never come back here unless someone else drags me to it again.

I've been to many Fat Tuesday's and this one was the best hands down! Was similar to a night club and had great drinks!

  • Brittaney P.

The drinks are refreshing on a warm summer night! The music was laid back and the dance floor was poppin! Great spot if you're visiting Key West.

  • Anjali R.

After a not so great experience with a bartender I really appreciate the business owner taking the time to message me on yelp and rectify the situation. I know that mistakes can be made and sometimes customer service isn't the best, but I do thank you Troy for taking care of it!

    (4)
  • Kristi B.

I've been there a lot. I love this place!! The only pic I took was on Memorial Day with my brother!!

    (5)
  • Katy S.

Daiquiris and dancing! This is a good spot for a frozen drink on a hot day. Their drinks are very tasty and there is always fun music playing. In my younger years I spent a lot of time here. As I get older it has become more of a stop in for a quick drink and keep crawling spot for me. Still, the drinks are good and the atmosphere is fun.

Fat Tuesday is a typical frozen drink bar with the usual suspects of flavors, mixers, floater shots, and souvenir bottles. The prices seem decent compared to the strength of the drinks and the floaters are nice and inexpensive for that extra kick. If you brave the perpetual brain-freeze and you don't jump and jitter yourself out the door with the sugar-high, you'll be feeling good in no time. The outdoor setup is nice with a long bar, some tables, a bunch of standing room, and a pool table so it's definitely set up for partying. If you need a respite from the heat, this spot will do the trick because it seems to attract a breeze and has misters surrounding almost the entire outside area. The frozen drinks don't hurt, either. The first time I came here a few years ago, I loved this place! This time it was only average. Maybe I had more drinks in me the first time around, but it seemed like the drinks were weaker and sweeter, prices went up (only $0.25 higher than Flying Monkey down the street), and the waitresses were a bit less "there." Still a great place to hang out, cool off, and get a frozen drink.

Super Sweet frozen drinks for the Hot Humid Key West weather. Since you can carry your drinks up and down Duval St. its a great idea to get a frozen one. Not as good as Jamba Juice but the same concept but with Alcohol.

    (3)
  • Molly C.

Loads of brain-freezey alcoholic goodness! Mostly outdoors.. pretty quiet during the week but crazy on Friday nights. Most are made with 151 Rum.. a few are mixed with Tequila or Kahlua but either there is so much sugar I couldn't tell or they're not mixed that strong. Thinking the latter. Prices aren't awful - 16oz is 5.50. Lemon+Strawberry mix is pretty magical though! We ended up going twice over the course of a week.

    (3)
  • Jackie S.

No service - and a sense of entitlement about tips: That's it - sugary overpriced drinks. Service was grudging and then expecting a tip. Just kinda over the service industy in Key West - Jaded and unfriendly with a serious entitlement about their tips.

    (2)
  • Brett C.

I'm not sure why Fat Tuesdays doesn't get better reviews because it was one of our favorite bars. The blended drinks are awesome and the prices are reasonable. They offer extra shots of alcohol in all their blended drinks. Great music playing (mostly rap when we were there). Great service. We recommend Fat Tuesdays.

    (5)
  • Mary S.

I don't care that it's a cheesy tourist bar, I love it. I think it has some of the best people watching around with beautiful bartenders and 55+ age patrons ogling them. My favorite flavors are mudslide and hurricane. Waitstaff is always pleasant and we've never waited to get a drink here.

    (5)
  • Jen M.

Coupons in most visitor guide books, you can pick up anywhere. Free jello-shot or $1 off drink !!!!! Fun place

  • Johnny M.

Fun drinks, fun music, good dj... I've been here a couple of times and had a great time. Fun place!

    (4)
  • Ryan B.

Can't stay away, I love the drinks! I would never prefer the $1 cheap shot they add. Went on Saturday, it was like we were 21 again, but a lot of punk kids there..good music though

    (4)
  • Mike H.

Pros: Half the drinks contain 190 grain alcohol in them Service was great I got to drink outside for the first time since October (I'm from Chicago) Bouncer looked at my ID and congratulated me for losing weight Cons: After 3 drinks, I thought I was going to get diabetes

    (4)
  • Grace O.

First time at Fat Tuesday & we loved it! We're not the partying type so we never hung around much but it looked like it might be a great time if you did. Instead we purchased insulated bottled and would pop in for a refill and wander the streets! It was amazing! My favorite was Strawberry Margarita! I also had my first jello shot here...& I'm 24. Guess I had some catching up to do! Also something we noticed was that the guys who seemed to work during the day were way more friendly than the girls who were working on Saturday night when we were in there. Just because you're pretty doesn't mean you get to be rude for absolutely no reason. I'm always super friendly to service staff & tip well!

    (4)
  • Kristin B.

I'm not big on commercial bars or foo foo drinks, but my friend was dying for a Miami Vice around lunchtime so we went. The bartender was the really pretty but down to earth type, and we had a great time talking to her. I also love the fact that she was the first and only person to check the ID against the credit card. We stopped back in late night but turned around when we realized people were doing the Wobble in a 6 x 6 spot between tables. No thanks.

    (3)
  • Duane D.

Typical Fat Tuesdays -- you love it or you don't. This is just an outdoor bar with lots of slurpee-style frozen drinks. Service is pretty good, especially considering its always crowded. Fat Tuesdays just feels right in Key West.

    (4)
  • Chelsea W.

Meh....Fat Tuesdays? Well since I have a handful of drink coupons for a free jello shot or $1 off drinks i suppose I'll make a stop. Overall summary of Fat Tuesdays: -cheap drinks -good happy hour -you can't taste any alcohol whatsoever unless you buy an extra shot -super super sweet -i feel like im walking into a bar within a frat house so buy your drink and continue on My advise, stop at this Key West staple for a cheap drink or if its really hot out just to get something icey and refreshing but plan on spending a lot more money if you actually want to get buzzed or drunk before you pass out from sugar overload.

    (2)
  • Jessica N.

Come here for Happy Hour. great specials and you can add a shot floater for only an extra dollar! Normally good music and fun vibe :)

    (3)
  • Kayla W.

I went to Fantasy Fest this weekend and pretty much hung out at Fat Tuesday. The DJ was playing great music to dance and the place was packed! They had about 10-12 different flavors of frozen drinks to have, unlike the fat Tuesdays in ft Lauderdale. I had the mudslide which was extremely tasty and my friend got the chocolate covered strawberry.... Omg her drink was sooo good. They also were giving out beads and cups when you left as a little souvenir. The bathrooms are disgusting and should have an attendant in them at all times! Besides the bathrooms the whole experience was great there! Plenty of diff choices for frozen drinks, great music, and party vibe!!!

    (4)
  • Lyndsay N.

We went to Fat Tuesday to hang out before we checked into the house we were staying at. Our waitress took our drink orders but didn't write anything down. When she came back she had left out two things that I noticed. One was a jello shot and the other was a floater shot on my drink. I took this to mean that I didn't need it. She didn't charge us for it, or mention it again. It was a good place to hang out and people watch. The drinks were pretty good, your typical frozen drinks place. The service was just not very good...

    (3)
  • Taline B.

Hi my name is Taline and I am addicted to all frozen drinks. It's a love affair I just can't seem to control nor do I really want it to end. I would kill for a frozen margarita and Fat tuesday has just that. Its not the best FM in the world but it scratches that itch. The service was good, except for the creepy man sleeping on the bar next to us ( I think this is a key west thing). Fat Tuesdays is a very casual outdoor bar and perfect for a warm day (basically every day).

    (4)
  • Jenny J.

Best tiki drinks that will creep up on you!!! Get the refillable cup! So worth it and can be used at any fat Tuesday!!

    (5)
  • Tracey R.

The best daquiris in town! They are perfectly blended amd smooth. The variety of daquiri options is amazing! Coupons can be found in a few of the local coupon books for a free jello shot or $1 off a daquiri. We love the atmosphere here....very open and you can grab a drink and hit Duval Street.

I have a picture 3 babies, sittin' at a bar, sippin' from fat tuesday coozie containers, before 11 in the morning. OH YEAH! Mothers of year! But honestly, God bless them for being open early, letting babies in the bar during the day, having virgin drinks for the little ones, and for having fans. And for serving alcoholic drinks to mothers pushing strollers. P.S. There is a bartender, I believe his name is Derreck, with the most unbelievable blue eyes I've ever seen. (And I come from a family of gorgeous blue eyes.) Hey there hottie!

    (5)
  • Mike D.

Best daiquiri factory in all of Key West. Great place right on Duval St which is right in the middle of the action. Not only was it a great open air bar with a great environment the daiquiris were very very good! They also have a couple of TV's so it's nice if your watching a game. Will for sure be back when visiting Key West!!

    (5)
  • Steven D.

Draws in a lot of tourist who know the Fat Tuesday name. For some reason it is the number one place people go to celebrate their twenty-first birthday. I recommend to go in and order a Suicide with an extra shot head to the other bars.

    (3)
  • Brenda P.

FROZEN in time! This place really is just that! How it manages to do that for decades, I will never know. It's OK, I don't care. I just know that this is one of my three "MUST DO" stops once in KW. You know the drinks by heart, you know it's going be hot and you know they will be jammin'. It is a small place and mostly open so it does get toasty in there although they do try and cool it with fans. The crowd like everything in KW is mixed. No one cares. Everyone is there with the same goal: to have a good time and Fat Tuesdays delivers!

    (4)
  • Kris C.

Everytime I think of a frozen drink (especially of the alcoholic variety) I think of sweet syrupy ick. I am happy to report that for the most part this is not the case for Fat Tuesday. If you are concerned with it not packing enough punch, you can add a shot of "moonshine" basically. That will get your motor running. Plus if you are trying to beat the heat, the slush is a good way to go as well. All in all, I would probably try another one (they are a chain and have locations in Vegas well).

    (3)
  • Laura C.

I LOVE an honest bartender. When I asked the gal serving the multiple flavored margarita's, how fattening they were, she said "Honestly?? Most are about 1/3 sugar". That's all I needed to hear...before ordering 2 Coors Lights. Yeah, that's right. I'm a girl who likes to double fist (we were given 2-for-1 coupons on the street). I used to like to dance (I feel a little schooled by the 20-something's these days) but the DJ was playing such good music - I got onto the dance floor...not caring who I slam into (Elaine from Seinfeld style). I loved that the dance area was open air...because it was a really warm night and shaking our tail-feathers worked us up a sweat. The bar was a bit crowded, which is a good thing. Means, people like the place. From what I remember (this was our last stop on the way back to the hotel after quite a few cocktails), the prices were decent and the joint was clean. For sure I had a good time. I know this because of the photos I took.

    (4)
  • B W.

Go for the frozen drinks and pay for the extra shot and re-fillable travel cup - it's definitely worth it! Check back throughout the day for re-fills, then come back at night to break it down!

    (4)
  • Jim B.

Now I've always been a fan of the Fat Tuesday's franchise, Philly, Cancun,...and you can add Key West to the list. Sitting here facing out on Duval Street you cannot help but have a grand old time. They have many flavors and strengths of brain freezing goodness that doesn't take a PHD in chemistry to create tasty, mind-numbing concoctions. The extra shot option (151 in a test tube of course) speeds you on your way to nirvana, but remember to take advantage of the taxis and bikes if you do........

  • Rob B.

We were wandering Duvall St. and decided to come in here for some frosty libations. I've been to Fat Tuesdays in Myrtle Beach and while I don't care for the general ambiance, I do like the drinks they put out. This location had a similar scene, with plenty of extremely loud music, rowdy frat boys, people puffing away on cigars and some golf on the big screen. It was not my kind of place to sit back with a drink, but thankfully Key West is all about open containers on the streets, so we ran in, grabbed a drink, and boogied out of there. In case you're not familiar, Fat Tuesdays does pretty much nothing but frozen drinks...and they are all pretty delicious! There are mostly fruity flavors but you can find a few that are not...I'm a fan of the Rum Runner in particular. If you want to get extra silly they will throw a shot of hard liquor in a test tube into your drink that you can either chug down on the spot or mix in with your drink to give it an extra kick. I wouldn't recommend taking a seat inside, but I am all for grabbing one for the road. Just make sure you stay on your two feet and don't jump behind the wheel!

    (3)
  • Scott K.

Wow, what a selection!! They must have 10 different frozen drinks mixing behind the bar. The menu lists different combinations. We had frozen Hurricanes, in the refill coozie bottles for $10 each. This is a great way to go if you like frozen drinks, refills are $7 and it can be any day throughout your visit. We have stopped by for refills and Karen had the Miami Vice. It was a mix of Pinia colada and strawberry. YUMMY! Barstools and TVs make it a good place to stop in and watch a game while having a nice frozen adult beverage.

  • Zach E.

Fat Tuesday is your one-stop shop for frozen drinks in Key West. They've got nearly every frozen drink under the sun, and every one of them can be topped off with a shot of rum. If you're going to get a Fat Tuesday frozen drink, the floater is pretty much a given, especially since it's only a dollar or two more! The atmosphere of this place is fun and entertaining, and Fat Tuesday is very much a "bar atmosphere" type place. Probably not the best place to take kids, as it's strictly a bar/dance club in the evenings. In true Key West fashion, there also seems to be quite the Laissez-faire attitude when it comes to the patrons as we saw more than our fair share of girls coming out of their tops while we had our drinks there. But, again, it's Key West so that's a bit to be expected. The music wasn't so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation, and the atmosphere was a lot of fun. Much like any other bar in Key West, you're going to have a good time whether you like it or not, so get yourself a 190 Octane with a 151 Floater and party your butt off!

    (4)
  • Antonio M.

Woot Woot!! Come drive that train to Fat Tuesdays!! The people were excellent behind the bar never let you wait more then a few seconds. Even made some life long friends!! Get the 190 Octane and dont forget the 151! Awesome pace to dance and laugh with friends!

    (5)
  • Sarah B.

Banana banshee is awesome...fun atmostphere but super expensive drinks. I suggest checking the same out and getting the smallest size drink just for the experience. The Jell-O shots are a tasty alternative and are only $1.

    (3)
  • Elizabeth R.

IT'S NOT TASTEFUL, BUT IT TASTES GOOD. If you're walking down Duval Street, and you think you're going to absolutely die from the heat, why not stop at Fat Tuesday for a giant frozen cocktail that will adjust your attitude, cool you down, and last all the way until you reach the Southernmost Point? And then, as you're headed back to your cruise ship, you can stop in again for a cheap, giant refill that would cost you at least twice as much at the pool bar on board. And don't worry, when I got back to the ship, they let me walk through with the drink in my hand. No probs.

    (4)
  • John D.

I'd really like to give this place 3.5, because the service was good. I HATE frozen drinks, I prefer a solid ale any day. But, for what it is, it's a worthwhile place if you're into this sort of stuff. Probably a bit more appealing to the brotato crowd.

    (4)
  • Rachel P.

Visit this place in the daytime. By day, it's a nice patio where you can sit and people watch while you indulge in frozen rocket fuel under misting fans. By night, they try to turn it into a club scene. Lame. All of their drinks are pretty dang tasty. Everything on the menu, save for the margarita, contains either 151 or grain alcohol. The mudslides are my favorite, but I can't drink more than one. They're pretty decadent. If you buy the souvenir sipper bottle thingy for $10, you can purchase refills for $7. Though I would NOT put back more than two of these babies. These things will sneak up on you! Especially if you're adding the "tooter" of 151 for a buck. This is pretty much a must-visit (for at least one drink) when we're doing the Duval crawl.

  • Yasi P.

Went to fat Tuesdays with my girls for my friends bachelorette and what a great place. They were playing great music ... Great space to get some dancing and the drinks were delicious. The manager was absolutely great and super attentive. I can't wait to go back for the next bachelorette celebration.

  • Lindsay W.

Frozen, fruity, alcohol. I'm sure I wouldn't be caught dead in this place after a certain time, but the Sweet Tart Daiquiri (Lemonade, Fruit Punch, & Blue Raspberry) was perfect for my hot Sunday afternoon. I'm sure we'll be back!

    (5)
  • Noelle H.

Come here for happy hour when they have a discount off drinks. There's not much seating, especially if it's busy. Be careful of the older drunk people who get sloppy; entertaining, but can be annoying. The drinks are surprisingly strong, and a good place to start off the night ;)

    (3)
  • Leslie W.

Fat Tuesday always has my vote no matter what city I am in. I have a soft spot for them because I love those mixed slushie style drinks. Especially when you add an extra shot or two of rum. Plus, I have started collecting the different style cups they have - tumblers, mugs, etc... so I always have to pay a visit. This is a must-go-to bar when I'm in Key West. As I said, I love the drinks and I'm also pretty partial to the atmosphere. In Key West, the entire bar is outside. They have a good amount of high-top table seating as well as ample room for dancing. I've always had a great time at Fat Tuesday's. I definitely recommend, especially if frozen drinks are your cup of tea.

  • Matt S.

Pretty fun little place located on Duval Street. If you want a break from slamming down shots or beers, swing into Fat Tuesday for a nice little frozen concoction. This is also a GREAT place to stop on a hot summer day and you're walking around taking in the sights. Dozens of different frozen flavors are available, and they have some special mixtures that take a few different flavors... my favorite was the Superman. A rocket-pop flavored alcoholic drink! That could get anyone in trouble. Stopped in here at night, and it was pretty packed, with techno music pumping. Most people were in there just relaxing and enjoying their drinks, and it didn't take long to get served. I also stopped in mid afternoon while walking Duval Street, and there was maybe 10 people in there. Bartenders were super nice, and it was great to get a table in the back and relax in the shade, enjoy the drink, and be on our way. Bonus for being served in clean plastic cups so you can take the goodness to go. Fun little spot.

  • Christine T.

For being a Fat Tuesday, it's a small location. It has all the typical frozen drinks they all have with the loud urban hip hop music playing in the background. You can have this experience at any Fat Tuesday.

    (3)
  • Jennifer B.

Fat Tuesday! Located right in the middle of Duval Street, and less than a block from the place I stayed this past vacation, Fat Tuesday had my eye from Day 1. They feature a large mug that lights up and that you can refill for a fraction of the cost. I had a Sweet Tart frozen drink which I finished in record time and then had a Dirty Monkey that I loved too. At night, the place is so jam-packed with great music playing.

Had some great drinks with my buddy. Staff was friendly. I got my free jello shots. Place had a nice crowd and a good dj. We did not stay more than a few hours. Definitely a straight crowd and plenty of college student.

Had great time when I was visiting Key West. Drinks are awesome. We went back several times during our trip.

    (5)
  • Rob V.

These frozen treats are very refreshing on a hot day. Only way to get these is with the 151 floater, but be warned more than one of these and you're asking for trouble!

  • Todd P.

It would have been five stars but I got a brain freeze.

  • Adetoun Tina A.

I have been to the fat tuesdays in my hometown of Miami Florida. Some drinks are different but your general fat tuesdays experience. Went during a short stop on a cruise during the day so busy but im sure it can get crazier. Fun workers.

    (4)
  • Kendra R.

just like every other fat tuesdays ... though I didn't see any public nudity or actual sex acts which closed down the fat tuesdays at the MOA..... Grab a cup of your alcoholic slushy of choice and walk back out and enjoy duval. unless you wanna get humped than go onto the dance floor.

Nothing like a good frozen drink on a hot day. ...and thats all this place is good for, really.

Don't miss the wall of frozen beverage machines, and say yes to the extra shot. Classic Key West!

Must start a bar crawl with a daq from here, sets you up for a great day, 190 Octains are to die for

    (5)
  • Wayne K.

Ugh...why in the world do people go here? Saw a bunch of drunk people grinding on each other while one guy was groping a girl's ass and v-jay-jay...which was a nice scene (I hope you can see the sarcasm). This place was horrible...yuck.

    (1)
  • Arly J.

Your typical Fat Tuesday experience. The bar is in a great location and is big. We enjoyed a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't completely full and we were a group of six. Frozen drinks were good. The mojito was not great. Waitress was friendly and attentive. We were able to catch the ending of the football game and enjoy the musci at the same time.

    (3)
  • Bradley M.

Let's just say we (15 of us) took this place over!! Dance of pants off style!! That's all I have to say...

  • Becca E.

When you are very hot, nothing makes you feel better than a frozen drink. Especially when that drink contains copious amounts of 151. This is one of those places that was better during the day than at night, but I still didn't mind it. Yes, there were people getting all freaky freaky, I think they confused Key West with the Jersey Shore but sometimes people watching can be fun. During the day, it was nice because it was completely open air. My favorite mixes were the Violet Behavior and Swamp Water. Best part is lots of places hand out buy one get free drink places and this was one of them! Also, if you get the bigger sizes you can get cheap refills!

This is by far the most fun bar I went to in Key West!! Refillable couzie bottles were $10 and it was $7 every time you refilled them. Money well spent in my opinion. The frozen drinks were all delicious. Pina colada, rum runner, margarita, you name it, they'll have it. And the bartenders were so nice to mix flavors and create delicious concoctions. Let's just say as a Michigan Native, sitting at Fat Tuesdays in 80 degree weather, listening to good music, and watching MSU beat Ohio State in basketball was absolutely glorious. I wish I could be there right now!!!

I'm a fan of this bar more so for the music they play and the good time we had there. Got there on a saturday night and the waitress made me a sweet, fruity Daiquiri which I enjoyed and my husband a drink he enjoyed too. There wasn't too much alcohol in the drinks, but she offers you an extra shot before serving it. The dance floor was wonderful. There was a birthday party happening at one end and another group of 60 something ladies at another. One of the ladies had let loose and was completely enjoying herself. Her enthusiasm was contagious and soon most people were grooving to the music. It turned out to be a wonderful night all the right elements - music, drinks and an enthusiastic crowd.

Secure some of the $1 off coupons from your hotel and proceed to get a MAJOR buzz while sipping on fruity, frozen, boozy deliciousness for a mere $8. Definitely the best bang for your buck if you're looking to get tipsy!

Key West is a bar-hopping kind-of town, so yes -- you have to stop in Fat Tuesday for at least one drink. And no worries, you don't have to stay there to finish it up, so sip slowly. No brain freezes necessary! There has always been an... ahem... interesting crowd when I've been, which makes for a fun people-watching evening (or ten minutes).

I liked this place, but the atmosphere at night wasn't amazing. Kind of crowded in some parts but then empty in others. Awkward drunk dancing and rowdy people, but what do you expect in Key West. They are one of the few strict places with IDs so I wouldn't suggest going here without being 21 or having a really good fake. The drinks were really good, but be warned: you can barely taste the alcohol. If you want to get drunk real fast, get an extra shot, but most of the drinks already have 151 in them. Get the water bottle. You get to keep it as a souvenir and it even says Key West on it. It's only $10 and then $7 if you want a refill. I honestly couldn't stay here for more than 20 minutes because of the atmosphere, but you can stop for a drink and then leave.

So... I was a little worried about hitting up a daiquiri place like this since I had a bad experience a couple years ago at a place similar to this, but the wife wanted one... so we hit it up. Great selection of drinks and we added a shot of rum to our drinks. Great server there and they even gave us some free samples of shots... which I wish I did not, because I don't remember much after that....

Good frozen drinks with lots of variety! You can get an extra shot of rum in a test tube to add to the slushy booze. When you get half way done with your drink, pick up the tube and release more rum! We didn't like the giant fans blowing in the back. Our hair was a hot mess and was sticking my my lip gloss. Their music style was OK, just picture early 2000 hip hop. You can dance like a fool and no one will notice because everyone is pretty drunk up on their slush. Good times!

Yummy daquaris. I had the dirty monkey (banana and mudslide) and it was yummy. we came here about 11am, and i just loved that it wasn't too crowded and our server was so nice. she even brought over some samples of the flavors for us to try.

Every time we're on Duval, we stop in for an alcohol laced slushy. It's a great way to cool down and keep the buzz going. We don't normally hang out too long here, just stop in, grab a drink, listen to a song or two and continue on the Duval Crawl. They do have a pool table and plenty of seats though if you choose to hang for awhile.

the epitome of the spring break bar, but still a good time. very young crowd. there's dancing almost every night, which is good. they had a live dj both times i was there. the drinks are expensive. it's a good place to watch sports games. not much authenticity or originality.

This is a very enjoyable experience. The drinks are fruity and tasty, which is perfect for the beach. They are very alcoholic, which is perfect for the beach. There is fresh air because it opens up to a large outdoor area ... again, perfect for the beach. Watch out for racist basketball fans, they seem to frequent the establishment.

Frozen drinks - Many, many all good. Sporting events on tv. One pool table. Many fans blowing water mist. Great place to people watch. Warning the drinks taste great! Pick up a drink and finish your city walk. Did I say the drinks are great.

Ok so let me first say that the place itself is pretty good. The bouncers on the other hand are really dicks. For a reason I did not know at the time, I was forcibly thrown out. There was no explanation. When I asked what I did I was gut checked (which the manager denied). I later found out it was because one of the guys with me did not have his shirt on. This is really BS because he was allowed in like that (his nipples were covered with paint) and there were women in there with no shirts and even one with painted on panties! WTF? I demanded to talk with the manager and when he finally came out, he denied everything and acted like a dick. The bouncer at the door even admitted we did nothing wrong and that a bouncer named Troy was in the wrong. this place is fun, but enter at your own risk.

Great concept, not so great drinks. Extremely sugary and alcohol was a little watered down. Still a fun place to go.

It was a blazin' hot and humid day. Stopped at Fat Tuesday for a frozen drink.......I had the Rum Runner. It took a while to finish up. Luckily in this bar hoppin town you can take your drink from bar to bar. Everyone was having a good time, even the police officers! A lot of tourist makes for a cool party crowd. Can't wait to go back.

Have to agree with Nydia. The drinks are pretty cheap, and if you have a coupon, they're dirt cheap.

This is always a stop when I visit Key West. I've never hung out here for more than one drink, but they've got the best selection of frozen drinks in town. This is a good place for people watching, or beating the heat with the fans/misters they have installed under the bar's spacious canopy. As for drink recommendations, I'm partial to the Rum Runner, or White Russian, myself. (Oh, and be sure to get a "floater" in any drink you order.)

ok so this is strictly about the bouncers because I never even bothered to go in. Of course its spring break and they are being a bit tougher on people...I get that. But my experience with these jerks makes me want to go back just to kick them in the balls. It went something like this: There are two huggggeee lines to get in. By the time I finally get up to the bouncer my friends have already gone inside. I whip out my i.d....no prob because im 22 and I have nothing to worry about. The bouncer gets a confused look on his face, which they do sometimes, so I pull out a second I.D. to make life easier for him. He grunts and hits the bouncer next to him. By now this is taking way too long and both lines are getting pissed. The new bouncer tiks his little finger at me and says "I am going to give you one chance to tell me the truth, is this your id?" I say "yeah..it is" and I again show my spare I.D. with my name on it again. This is not only beyond rude but completly retarded. He then tells me "So if I call the cops and they run your social security number it will check out?" And by now, I hope you all understand, I am totally pissed. I didn't walk away because how am I supposed to tell my friends inside where I am? So I tell him yeah it well and that this is bullshit. Luckily, by then my friends show up, the bouncer gives a rude wave for me to go in, and I tell him to go screw himself. We all turned around and left. This isn't even a club or a good bar...its just some crappy half bar on duval.

Frozen drinks. Thats about all there is to say about this place. Good drinks. Decent prices. I think the drinks were 8 bucks a piece. Nothing special.
